High River & Okotoks Markets

About Us

Logo for High River Farmers' Market featuring stylized buildings in orange, black, and green, with a tree and a banner.that reads 'High River'.

The High River Farmers' Market has been a summer staple for more than 35 years. Inclusion Foothills took over operations of the Market in 2015, the same year the Market moved to the downtown location on 4 Avenue SW. Seeing rapid growth since then, the Farmers' Market has become a hit with residents and visitors alike.

Inclusion Foothills’ mission is to provide advocacy and support for individuals with pan disability and their families/guardians so they may: enjoy all rights, responsibilities, and benefits of citizenship, be valued, and included as equal/valued citizens and be free of discrimination. Vendor fees from the Market go towards Inclusion Foothills employment opportunities created for our participants.

Our Vendors

People at a farmers market booth selling fresh produce under a white canopy with a sign that reads 'Key Colony Fresh Produce' in front of a yellow building.

We have a wide selection of local and regional vendors that attend our market on a weekly basis. In 2023 we had 36 different vendors participating across all our Thursday markets.

You can expect to find everything from locally grown fresh produce, home baked breads, pies, fudge, jams, jellies and soaps, as well as unique and handcrafted housewares, jewelry, and clothing.

Every effort is made to provide a variety of food trucks throughout the season.

Vendors are welcome to complete an application for the markets they wish to attend.

Markets For All Seasons

Each season has a market full of treasures for you to explore and enjoy.

Farmers' Market

Located in beautiful downtown High River, the outdoor Farmers' Market runs Thursday afternoons during the summer months. With over 35+ vendors, there is something for everyone.

We follow current AHS guidelines to ensure the safety of all our vendors and patrons.  But that doesn't put a damper on enjoying the outdoor market experience each week. We look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces throughout the summer.
